David Weinfeld, Founder
David is an experienced marketer and expert at designing, building and maintaining large, high-traffic Web destinations and infrastructure. As principal of DAWEnterprises, David handles all architecture, strategic direction, functionality and appearance of the eNewsletter services.
Prior to founding DAWEnterprises, David was Director of Product Management at Military.com and was instrumental in creating a profitable dot-com (yes, I did say profitable!)
As Co-founder & Vice President, Internet Operations of ClipShow, Inc., David led the development and successfully grew ClipShow into the number one video-sharing destination on the Internet. He also launched the first real-time targeted video advertising solution.
Before ClipShow, David served as Vice President of Production for Learn2.com, Inc. He directed the planning and oversight of all aspects of the award-winning website, Learn2.com. David directly oversaw all business development, creative development and production for numerous website projects including: PhotoSmart.com (Hewlett Packard), HP.PhotoNet.com (Hewlett Packard/Kodak), ProfitPatterns.com (Mercer Management Consulting) and MeredithIM.com (Meredith Corporation). During his tenure at Learn2.com, David was also responsible for banner ad sales and executing online advertising campaigns.
David has extensive speaking experience in the areas of effective website development, website marketing and Internet strategies. He is an instructor at The Learning Annex and a regularly invited guest lecturer at Hass School of Business, American Marketing Association and other corporate events.
Prior to joining Learn2.com, David was a graduate researcher at Argonne National Laboratory, an Adjunct Faculty member at Lake Tahoe Community College and an application/sales engineer at Hutchinson & Company. He holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, along with his BSME from The University of Texas. An avid sports enthusiast, David spends his free time rowing in the San Francisco Bay and mountain biking with his wife and daughter.
